In law school, Carolyn was Executive Candidacy Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, received the American Jurisprudence Award for Research, Writing and Advocacy, and was voted most outstanding woman law student by the faculty. Following graduation, Carolyn practiced with medium and large Atlanta law firms litigating individual, class actions and multi-district lawsuits throughout the country. She represented clients at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts and at mediations in high-exposure product liability, commercial litigation, and personal injury cases.

Carolyn was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1992, the Washington State Bar in 2005, the Nevada Bar in 2008, and the California Bar in 2009. She practices in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis in copyright and trademark litigation and counseling, contracting and licensing, and rights of privacy issues. A professional photographer who provided all of the photographs for this website, Carolyn maintains a weekly blog providing legal information for photographers at www.photoattorney.com and published the “Photographers’ Legal Guide” in 2006.

Prior to law school, Evan was a legal assistant at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York City, and during law school he spent a summer as an intern for the Honorable Joel M. Feldman in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.  While Evan was at law school, he was a staff member of the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal, and was awarded CALI Achievement Awards in Intellectual Property and Trademarks, as well as the 2007 ABA and Bureau of National Affairs Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law.
